New Open Group Discussions @ the RWRC
This September, UR Pride is partnering with the Rainbow Wellness Resource Centre to offer facilitated group discussions on Queer topics. Our first session will be held at the RWRC (2070 Broad St. lower level) on Thursday, September 27th @ 7p.m. If you are interested in meeting new people and having some good discussion, this is for you. Please attend and tell us you interests. We will be creating more specific groups based on interest and attendance.
Monday Movies @ UR Pride
UR Pride is currently seeking a volunteer to facilitate our weekly movie nights this coming September/October. The movie nights will take place on Mondays at 6:00p.m. with a discussion to follow. This individual will be expected to set up the projector and sound as well as create and submit a schedule of films that will be shown for advertising purposes through U
R Pride. Films can be chosen from the UR Pride Resource Library, the Archer Library or your personal collection (pending approval).
Perks that come along with volunteering for UR Pride are: a free UR Pride tshirt, free coffee or tea during movie nights and a free ticket to a UR Pride event of your choice this coming year!
