Prospective students to learn about life at the University of Regina

The University of Regina will host 700 Grade 12 students and their parents at UR Connected! on Oct. 22 and Oct. 23.

This is the fourth annual UR Connected!, a campus visit program that has brought nearly 3000  prospective students, parents and guidance counsellors to the U of R for a complete tour by current University students. This event provides prospective students the opportunity to explore the many degree options at the U of R, learn about our faculties and federated colleges, participate in fun activities and informative seminars, and interact and connect with many other students from around the province.

The event also includes sessions tailored to parents and high school counsellors, as well as a lunch reception hosted by Campion and Luther Colleges.

Because space is limited, registration for the event is mandatory and can be completed online at www.uregina.ca/newstudent. The first 700 students who register online, along with parents and high school counsellors, can attend UR Connected!. Check-in begins at the Centre for Kinesiology, Health and Sport at 9:00 a.m., with the opening presentation at 10:00 a.m.

Students who register and attend UR Connected! will be eligible to win one of six $750 scholarships toward tuition and fees once they become a U of R student.

There is no registration deadline but registrations will be taken on a first-come first-served basis.
