FIRST® LEGO® League arrives officially in Saskatchewan

FIRST^® (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) LEGO^® League (FLL^®) has arrived in Saskatchewan. Teams of between two and 10 kids and two adult coaches work to complete a three-part challenge: a Robot Game, Project, and the FLL Core Values. This year's challenge, to be released on August 25, is called TRASH TREK^SM.

The Department of Computer Science at the University of Regina is concluding its week-long camp on July 24 where the campers experience designing, building, programming, and testing of LEGO^® robots with last year's FLL robot game.

Media are invited to attend the camp to get a first-hand look at the LEGO^® robots between 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. and 3 - 4 p.m. on Friday, July 24 by arranging viewings with Daryl Hepting at (306) 596-6312.
