The objective of this report is to focus on one aspect of the study: an examination of the health beliefs of elderly Canadians living in rural Saskatchewan and specifically, how rural seniors conceptualize health. Increased understanding of how seniors’ conceptualize what it means to be healthy ensures that service programs and delivery of those programs will better meet the needs of the aging population. The findings from this study will assist in informing rural social work practice, service delivery and policy making in the area of rural seniors health.	en
