Water — too little or too much — is an issue of growing concern in face of the increasingly variable climate we can expect on the Prairies. More and more, the issue is seen as one of water governance. Margot Hurlbert of the Department of Justice Studies and the Department of Sociology and Social Studies is studying the role of local watershed groups in making decisions about this precious resource.
