Is friendship between members of the opposite sex a prelude to a sexual encounter, or can women and men be "just friends"? In the fourth installment of the Coffee House Controversies Series, Donald Sharpe of the Department of Psychology at the University of Regina analyses the possibility of platonic friendships between the sexes.
