Late last week, the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) announced that six University of Regina faculty members and 15 students have been awarded federal funding for a variety of research projects. The projects - which range in subject area from the northern Saskatchewan bioeconomy to the effect of English-language teaching on minority groups in China - will benefit from funding totalling more than $984,000 over the next several years.
