Abstract

University of Regina President and Vice-Chancellor Vianne Timmons has been selected as a recipient of the 2008 Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award. The Top 100 Award is an initiative of the Women's Executive Network (WXN) and is co-presented by the Richard Ivey School of Business and Scotiabank. The annual listing of the Top 100 most powerful women in Canada honours the accomplishments of women in eight categories and all fields of endeavour. Winners are selected by an independent advisory board under the leadership of the WXN.
