Abstract

Over the past 30 years, Southern Saskatchewan has experienced much drier weather and some very significant droughts overall. Yet, according to research being conducted by Joe Piwowar, Canada Research Chair in Geomatics and Sustainability and head of the department of geography in the Faculty of Arts, the native prairie has, in fact, been getting greener.
