The University of Regina continues to attract an increasing number of international students from more than 60 countries around the globe. Compared to the 2012 winter term, the University has seen an increase of 183 new first-year international undergraduate students which represents a 22 per cent increase. Currently, the University of Regina has more than 1,000 registered undergraduate international students. Equally impressive is the increase in the number of international students pursuing master’s and doctoral degrees. Presently there are 440 international graduate students, an increase of 15 per cent over the January 2012 term.
