Abstract
Daylene Sliz was born and raised in Regina, but like so many others, felt that bigger opportunities were out west. After living in Calgary for 21 years, Daylene started to tire of waiting at red lights and missing her family. She returned home and decided to pursue her lifelong goal of working in journalism.
