Abstract
Mellissa Fung wants you to know the other side of the story in Afghanistan. Fung is a former CBC journalist who has reported from Afghanistan and was abducted while on assignment in that country. Fung was in captivity for 28 days before she was freed in 2008. Fung is speaking at the University of Regina November 17 and is co-presented by Aga Khan Foundation Canada and the School of Journalism. Fung says the bad news coming out of Afghanistan is only one side of the story.
