Abstract
The Canadian Clay and Glass Gallery announced its winners of the 2014 Winifred Shantz Award for Ceramics and RBC Award for Glass at an awards ceremony last month. These prestigious national awards allow early career practicing ceramic and glass artists to undertake a period of independent research or other activities that will advance their artistic and professional practice at a key moment in their careers. University of Regina Bachelor of Fine Arts (’99) and current graduate student, Jody Greenman-Barber, was the recipient of the second prize for her submission of a proposal to go to Asia to work in a studio, do research and attend the Korean Ceramic Biennale.
