Abstract

No one knows the University of Regina like George Maslany. He was a student when only the College Avenue Campus existed, and he later had a 40-year career as professor and administrator. At a ceremony at the Hotel Saskatchewan on Dec. 8, 2014, Dr. Maslany was presented with the University’s Distinguished Service Award. This award recognizes individuals who have: rendered outstanding service to the University; served the community for many years; and significantly enhanced the development and/or operations of one or more of the University’s areas of endeavour. The nomination must also be strongly supported within the University community.
