Abstract

The University of Regina’s Dr. Vianne Timmons and the City of Moose Jaw’s Mayor Deb Higgins are co-hosting a luncheon featuring Don Newman, an award-winning broadcast journalist. Newman will present “The 2015 Federal Election: Policies, Personalities and Prospects." "For the first time we have three parties that can be competitive,” says Newman. “There are 30 new seats and 75 ridings without incumbents. As for the leaders, there is Stephen Harper, the voice of experience. Thomas Mulcair of the NDP who is running his first national campaign but is experienced and we have Justin Trudeau, with the fewest seats and the least experienced but who is the most dynamic and charismatic."
