The University of Regina is holding its second annual Open House Week in the Music Department from November 16 to November 20. “It gives prospective students a close look at what happens in university-level music classes at the University of Regina,” explains Dr. Lynn Cavanagh, acting head of the Department of Music. Interested students can meet faculty and current students, tour the facilities, sit in on classes, take part in rehearsals, and learn about the various degree programs. “Students have the opportunity to pick the classes and day that fit best into their own busy schedules. The flexibility of the week allows them to sit in and participate in ensembles and classes,” explains Brent Ghiglione, director of bands and associate professor in the Department of Music.
