Abstract

On April 4, the people of Saskatchewan will cast their ballots to determine who will represent them in the provincial legislature. If you are a student, there are special voting rules making it easier for you to vote in Saskatchewan’s provincial election. According to Elections Saskatchewan, students who have moved from outside the province to study in Saskatchewan are immediately eligible to vote in provincial elections. To qualify you must be a Canadian citizen and at least 18 years old. Students are not required to have resided in the province for six months.
