Saskatchewan Roughrider Football Club to receive President's Community Award

University of Regina President and Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Vianne Timmons, will present the annual President's Community Award to the Saskatchewan Roughrider Football Club. The Club's President and CEO, Craig Reynolds, will accept the award.

The President's Community Award was created in 2010 to recognize individuals or organizations whose history of service to Saskatchewan has made a lasting impact on the province.

Previous winners include: Dr. Jacqui Shumiatcher, philanthropist; Cindy Fuchs, Canadian Red Cross - Saskatchewan; Rena Kapoor, community volunteer; Honourable Ralph Goodale, Member of Parliament; Pat Fiacco, former Mayor of Regina; Jim Scarrow, former Mayor of Prince Albert; and RCMP "Depot" Division for 125 years of service to the province.

   7:19 p.m. - U of R Board Vice-Chair Pam Klein brings greetings

   7:22 p.m. - U of R President Dr. Vianne Timmons makes presentation of Community Award

   7:30 p.m. - Saskatchewan Roughrider Football Club President and CEO Craig Reynolds comments

   7:40 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. - Reception continues
