1. GLOBAL LEARNING CENTRE

The Global Learning Centre (GLC) is the place for all the programs that will help international students with their academic and non-academic needs. There you will find our Peer Advisor Program where your peers provide academic assistance and support for new international students. Get daily one-on-one English language support with our English Coaching Program or join the Conversation Club. Get Study Assistance or take in our Academic Workshops and Classes - it's all at the GLC.

2. ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIPS

Take advantage of the many scholarships available to help all international students succeed.

The University Of Regina International Entrance Scholarship is awarded to all international students who enter the University with a GPA of 85% or more. Students receive their choice of either a $3,000 tuition refund or eight months of accommodation on campus. The UR Circle of Scholars Scholarship is a $20,000 ($5,000/year) award to recognize the best and brightest first-year students from around the world. New students coming directly from high school who apply for admission to an undergraduate program in the Fall semester by July 1 are automatically eligible.

3. Co-operative Education and Internship program

The U of R pioneered the Co-operative Education Work Experience Program in Western Canada. Co-op gives you valuable experience-based learning while you're taking your undergraduate degree. Earn up to $13,000 during your placement. Many Co-op students get permanent job offers from their employers before they graduate.

4. On campus housing

5. UR Guarantee

The UR Guarantee program is designed to help you reach your educational, career and life goals. If you do not secure career-related employment within six months of graduation, and have completed all the elements of the UR Guarantee program, you are eligible to complete another year of undergraduate classes for free. That's the UR Guarantee!
