Regina-based artists in all disciplines - visual, media, installation, performance, music - are invited to submit proposals
for an August 18-21 show in the downtown core, sponsored by a University of Regina Sustainable Development Grant.
Ruth-Anne French, of the University's visual arts office, says the project titled "We - The City" will
involve a number of local artists working together to animate a vacant building in Regina's downtown core. A number of
buildings are being evaluated, she says, and a final selection should be made in early July.
The project aims to celebrate the transformation of a part of the city, helping to build a culture of
sustainability.
Artists' submissions must include a one-page written proposal, and the artist's curriculum vitae. An honorarium
will be paid to cover expenses. Artists whose proposals are accepted will be notified by July 15.

Office, University of Regina, 3737 Wascana Parkway, Regina, SK, S4S 0A2.
