Brain Awareness week forum to focus on learning disabilities
The Centre on Aging and Health at the University of Regina is presenting a public forum called Learning Disabilities: Reading and the Brain. The forum is a feature of Brain Awareness Week March 14th -20th.

The forum speaker is Hiroko Sotozaki, an assistant professor in the University's Psychology Department. Sotozaki completed her PhD in experimental psychology, focusing on dyslexia and the processing of reading in the brain.

The public forum is Thurs., Mar.17th, 7 p.m. at the Centre for Kinesiology, Health and Sport, U of R, Room 185. Please RSVP to 337-2537 to confirm your attendance.

Other Brain Awareness Week activities include a Brain Show, an interactive display by organizations that care for the brain. It will be Mon., Mar. 14, 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the U of R Centre for Kinesiology, Health and Sport.
