Seminar explores new technologies and new soundtracks
The Faculty of Fine Arts and the Faculty of Science at the University of Regina present the second in The Flatland Scratch Seminar/Workshop Series, on Thurs., March 24, 7-10 p.m. in the Riddell Centre, room 050. 

David Gerhard, computer science professor, and Charlie Fox, media production and studies professor, will present "New Technologies and New Soundtracks". Andra McCartney from Concordia University will be the guest artist and composer for this workshop.

The final seminar, "Cultural Production, Electronic Music, and Social Relations in 'Urban' and 'Rural' Settings", will be April 7. Marsh will present her research on rave culture conducted in both Regina and Toronto.

All events are free and open to the University community and the public.
