Prospective students learn about life at the U of R
The University of Regina will host 600 high school students at the UR Connected! Grade 12 Event on Wednesday,
October 17.

This is the third annual UR Connected!, a campus visit program that has brought over 2000 prospective students, parents, and high school counselors to campus in previous years.

The first 600 students who register, along with an unlimited number of parents and high school counsellors, can attend the October 17 event. Registration begins at the Centre for Kinesiology, Health and Sport at 9:30 a.m. on October 17, with the opening presentation at 11:00 a.m. Students will then discover more about their faculty or federated college of interest in an information session, and go on a tour led by current U of R students. Fun activities will be held throughout the day, including a band at lunch, demonstrations from U of R student clubs and a U of R Idol competition.

The event also includes sessions tailored to parents and high school counsellors, as well as a lunch reception hosted by Campion and Luther Colleges.

This exciting event will give students a chance to explore the many degree options at the U of R, as well as to connect with other students from across the prairies.

Registration for this event is mandatory and can be completed online at www.uregina.ca/newstudent. There is no registration deadline but registrations will be taken on a first come first served basis.

On October 16 the University will open to the public for the UR Connected! Evening Open House. The evening event is open to everyone – high school students, adult learners, parents and partners, alumni, and community members – and allows attendees to tour campus and learn more about everything U of R. Registration is not necessary for the evening open house.
