UR Ready workshops: preparing new students for University life
All newly admitted students, along with their parents and partners, are invited to attend the nearest University of Regina UR Ready workshop. U of R representatives and current students will provide need-to-know information about student life and answer any questions new students may have about the University. Registration is not necessary. Each spring, UR Ready workshops are held at the U of R campus, in Regina and area high schools, and in communities around the province.

The following 2009 workshops start at 7 p.m.:

April 21           Parkland Regional College, Yorkton (room 123)

April 21           North West Regional College, North Battleford (room 225)

April 22           Grenfell High School, Grenfell (Library)

April 23           Southeast Regional College, Weyburn (room 18)

April 28           Great Plains College, Swift Current (room 209)

April 29           Education Building, room 193, U of R campus

April 30           Estevan Comprehensive High School, Estevan (Lecture Theatre)

May 5             Central Collegiate, Moose Jaw (Library)

May 5             SIAST Woodland Campus, Prince Albert (Academic Building, room 237)

May 6             SIAST Kelsey Campus, Saskatoon (room 147)

May 7             Cumberland Regional College, Melfort (classroom #2)

May 7             Education Building, room 193, U of R campus

The on-campus workshops will include optional campus and free parking is available in Lot 14.  Additional workshops will also be held in many high schools in Regina and the surrounding areas over the lunch hours; for dates and locations, please visit
