Doug Emsley to deliver Levene Leadership Luncheon keynote speech

The University of Regina's Kenneth Levene Graduate School of Business will hold its second annual Levene Leadership Luncheon on Thursday, April 22, 2010, at noon at the Conexus Arts Centre, with keynote speaker Doug Emsley.

Emsley is chairman and president of the Agriculture Development Corporation, a farmland ownership and management company; chairman and CEO of SRG Security Resource Group Inc., a private investigation and security company; and president and founder of SabreWest Oil & Gas Ltd.  Emsley was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Bank of Canada in June 2007, and he is a founding member of the Saskatchewan Oil Industry Board of Governors. Earlier in his career, he was assistant principal secretary to the Premier of Saskatchewan and chief of staff to the Saskatchewan Minister of Energy and Mines.

"This luncheon is an opportunity to recognize the outstanding leaders we have in the Saskatchewan business community," says Anne Lavack, dean of the Faculty of Business Administration.

The Kenneth Levene Graduate School of Business is a centre of excellence in graduate business education within the Faculty of Business Administration. The faculty is home to more than 1,500 undergraduate students and 34 faculty members. Over 170 students are enrolled in the faculty's graduate programs.
