Paul J. Hill School of Business wins big at JDC West

The Paul J. Hill School of Business team captured top honours at this year’s JDC West Business Competition. The 2014 event was hosted by the University of Regina.  Paul J. Hill School of Business was named "School of the Year" at the conclusion of the three-day event, attended by more than 600 business students. It’s the second time in three years that the Hill School team has won the competition.

University of Regina teams placed first in Human Resources, and first in Management Information Systems (MIS), second in Business Strategy and Marketing, and third in Entrepreneurship and Debate. The Hill team also won Academic School of the Year for the first time.

“The excellent showing by our students is a sign of how strong the business program truly is at this institution, and I want to thank our students for representing the University of Regina so well over the past few days,” said University of Regina President and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Vianne Timmons. “I would like to thank Andrew Gaudes, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, as well as all of the other organizers who helped make this year’s competition such a resounding success.”
Next year’s competition will be held in Victoria.

An event to congratulate the students who competed at the JDC West Business Competition will be held on Tuesday, January 21 at 11:30 a.m. in the Ad-Hum Pit (AH121).
