For the third straight year, University of Regina students will host the Relay for Life in support of the Canadian Cancer Society. This year's Relay will take place on Friday March 28 starting at 7pm and will end at 7am the following morning.

The event will feature a non-competitive 12-hour relay where teams of students and staff will get together to take part in events throughout the evening including: yoga, zumba and watching local comedians and bands perform.

This event brings together students, staff and survivors for an evening of celebration while also honoring those who have battled cancer. In its first two years, the event generated more than $75,000 in support of cancer research initiatives and cancer survivor support programs here in Saskatchewan. With a record number of student teams registered in this year's Relay organizers are expecting another great event this Friday.
