He is the President and CEO of Bosgoed Project Consultants Ltd., a management consulting, development management, and project management company.  He specializes in project delivery, business advisory services and community engagement on capital projects.

“I am very happy to welcome Gary back to the University of Regina in this new capacity,” said University  of Regina President Vianne Timmons. “His breadth of experience and his perspective as an alumnus, business leader and community leader make him a welcome addition to our Board.”

Bosgoed is a well-known public speaker, community leader, business mentor and active volunteer. He chaired the 2013 Alberta Capital Region United Way Campaign and co-chaired the Alberta TransCanada Trail Fundraising Committee. He also sits on the Norquest College Industry Advisory Committee and is active in the Heart and Stroke Foundation’s door-to-door fundraiser.

Bosgoed was instrumental in the establishment of the Saskatchewan and Alberta Aboriginal Construction Careers Centre programs, which has provided construction jobs to over 10,000 Aboriginal people. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including the University of Regina Alumnus of the Year, National Aboriginal Achievement Award in Business and Technology, and the Saskatchewan Centennial Medal.

Bosgoed will serve a three-year term to January 14, 2019. He replaces Lee Elliott, who served on the Board for two terms.

“I would also like to thank Lee Elliott for his service to the University of Regina over the past several years,” added Timmons. “Lee demonstrated remarkable leadership, and his contributions, especially during his tenure as Board Chair, have helped make our University a stronger institution.”
