Residence move-in day, Welcome Weekend and Orientation kick off at the University of Regina

There is plenty to see and do at the University of Regina as new and returning students prepare for the Fall 2016 semester.

Media are invited to attend residence move-in which begins Friday, Sept. 2 at Kisik Towers. University of Regina President and Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Vianne Timmons and a student (Residence Assistant) will be available for interviews:

Media are also invited to attend events during the long weekend. Welcome Weekend is new and includes a residence orientation for new students, BBQs, off-campus events, athletics activities and much more.

On Tuesday, Sept. 6, student orientation begins. Orientation events help facilitate the transition from high school to university, and introduce incoming students to the University of Regina’s programs and student supports.
