From survivor of two civil wars to CEO and creative director of Foundry Communications, Zahra Al-Harazi is one of three keynote speakers who will appear at the University of Regina’s annual Inspiring Leadership Forum.

Recently named one of the top four immigrants to Canada by the Canadian Professional Accountants Organization and presented RBC’s Top 25 Immigrants to Canada Award, Al-Harazi is the Canadian Ambassador to UNICEF.

Al-Harazi has also been named one of Calgary’s Top 40 Under 40, Business in Calgary’s “Leader of Tomorrow,” and Canadian Woman Entrepreneur of the Year from Chatelaine magazine. She is one of Canada’s 100 most powerful women according to the Women Executive Network and has also received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee medal for her contributions to Canada.

The Inspiring Leadership Forum is an opportunity for people from Saskatchewan and beyond to hear the inspirational stories of internationally renowned leaders. This year’s theme is: The Strength Within. Keynote speakers, including Al-Harazi, will share how they found the strength to overcome adversity and pursue their dreams.

Now in its eighth year, the Inspiring Leadership Forum takes place on March 8, 2017. To register for this signature event, visit: http://www.uregina.ca/external/inspiringleadership/registration/index.html.
