Over 1,000 participants donned their flashlights, headlamps, and glowsticks last Friday night as they competed in the 2nd annual University of Regina Night Owl 5K Run. Presented in association with Queen City Marathon, the race began at Paskwāw and Wakpá Towers on the University of Regina campus and then wound its way along Wascana Lake before finishing back at the University.

Among the glimmering joggers was University of Regina Provost and Vice-President (Academic) Dr. Thomas Chase and Vice-President (Administration) Dave Button. Our very own alumnus, Kevin Petrychyn (BScHon’09, BMus’11), finished as leader of the pack with a time of 18:09!
