    Abstract
We all have unconscious biases. They are learned stereotypes that are automatic, unintentional, deeply engrained within our beliefs, universal, and have the ability to affect our behaviour. On October 1, the University is inviting faculty, staff, students and members of our community to unpack discriminatory unconscious biases that can make their way into workplaces, schools, and communities. Bringing in speaker Anthony McLean, the University will host a special event aimed at building a more welcoming and inclusive community.
