Feature Story: New Alertus App Pushes Campus Emergency Notifications

Abstract

The return of Godzilla? Zombie apocalypse? Only in the movies! When it comes to real-life emergencies like tornados or other life-threatening situations, the University of Regina is asking students, faculty, staff, and visitors to download the new Alertus emergency notification app to receive push notifications when an actual emergency is taking place on campus. The new Alertus app is free to download from the iOS App Store and Google Play Store.
