The University of Regina has moved up a spot in the annual Maclean’s Magazine university rankings to eighth place out of 15 in the comprehensive university category. As defined by Maclean’s, comprehensive universities have a significant degree of research activity and a wide range of programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including professional degrees. Areas that have seen improvement are the student/faculty ratio, student support, scholarships and bursaries to students, and social sciences and humanities grants.
