Abstract:
Three University of Regina marketing students will travel to China next semester for some hands-on experience in international marketing. Krista Loydl, Jocelyn Lanoie and Treena Amyotte won the Faculty of Business Administration’s second annual Bridges to International Practice competition on Apr. 7. The competition challenged fourth-year business administration students to develop marketing strategies to help Hypor Canada, one of the world’s leading suppliers of swine genetics, expand its operations in China. In addition to earning course credit, the winning team travels to China on behalf of Hypor to test and validate their marketing strategy first-hand.
