Abstract

The University of Regina Theatre Department will present Moisés Kaufman's The Laramie Project from Nov. 1 to Nov. 5 at the University Theatre, Riddell Centre. Directed by Kathryn Bracht, The Laramie Project is an examination of the citizens of Laramie, Wyoming in the aftermath of the brutal murder of gay student Matthew Shepard in 1998. It examines issues of homophobia, xenophobia, tolerance and acceptance in a small town thrust into the international spotlight following the murder.
