    Abstract
Third-year clinical psychology doctoral candidate Katherine McMillan is one of 85 doctoral students across North America to receive a Philanthropic Educational Organization (P.E.O) Scholar Award this spring. The award, established in 1991 by the P.E.O Sisterhood, provides substantial merit-based awards for women in the United States and Canada who pursue a doctoral level degree in an accredited college or university and are expected to make significant contributions to their field of study.
