Feature Story: UR Guarantee student profile of the month: Mahendre Mishra Bungsy

Abstract

Mahendre Mishra Bungsy came from halfway around the world to study at the University of Regina. His goal was to immerse himself in all that the University had to offer. Here is his story: I initially ventured into the engineering/management stream back in my home country at the University of Mauritius through the SIAST Business Administration program. I learned that I could transfer my credits and made up my mind to attend the University of Regina. Through the SIAST program I developed a keen interest in accounting, so I decided to opt for an accounting major and planned to go for my CPA designation after graduation.
