The lecture series 1914: A Turning Point in History and Culture - Centenary Reflections at the University of Regina returns this fall with four events planned to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the First World War. Sponsored by the Faculties of Arts and Fine Arts, the Dr. John Archer Library, the Humanities Research Institute, and the Department of History, this lecture series features an interdisciplinary team of scholars who will discuss how the Great War defined and shaped the twentieth century.
