    Abstract
    Sarah Abbott, an award-winning independent filmmaker and associate professor of film production at the University of Regina has been selected to receive a Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship to support her doctoral studies at Royal Roads University. The Vanier CGS are among the most prestigious graduate scholarships in Canada, and are awarded to world-class doctoral students who demonstrate strong leadership skills and a high standard of scholarly achievement. The scholarship is valued at $50,000 per year for three years.
