Three University of Regina graduate students have been awarded a 2014 Masters Canada Graduate Scholarship from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR). Each year up to 140 master and doctoral research students receive this award, which is also known as a Frederick Banting and Charles Best Canada Graduate Scholarship. The $17,500 award is intended to provide special recognition and support to students who are pursuing graduate studies in a health-related field at a Canadian institution. The three University of Regina students who received this award in 2014 are pursuing their research in three different fields: psychology, health studies, and biology.
