Abstract

The University of Regina’s Faculty of Nursing will receive one of the three awards to be handed out by Saskatchewan Polytechnic at the President’s Partnership Awards gala in Saskatoon on May 2, 2015. The President’s Program Partnership Award is presented to an organization, or individual, or individuals, who have made a notable contribution to the development of a new or existing Saskatchewan Polytechnic program. The relationship between the University of Regina’s Faculty of Nursing and Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s School of Nursing has, in a relatively short period of time, made long-lasting changes to nursing education in our province. This partnership has seen the creation of two collaborative nursing programs – the Saskatchewan Collaborative Bachelor of Science in Nursing (SCBScN) program and the Collaborative Nurse Practitioner Program (CNPP) - as well as collaborations in the publication of manuscripts and presentations at conferences.
