Feature Story: National honour for U of R Visual Arts instructor

U of R sessional instructor Holly Fay has received a national honour. Fay has been awarded the National Visual Arts Advocacy Award from the Canadian Artists Representation/Le Front des artistes canadiens (CARFAC). The award was presented in Saskatoon, May 29. “It is an honour to receive this award. National recognition for the community work I have done is very gratifying,” says Fay who has a solo exhibition at the Dunlop Sherwood Gallery in Regina. The Exhibit, titled Floating Worlds, is open to the public until August 31. You can also see her work in public collections around the city including the Mackenzie Art Gallery, the City of Regina and the Saskatchewan Arts Board.
