The University of Regina presented its sixth annual President’s Community Award to the Canadian Red Cross in Saskatchewan. Provincial Director, Cindy Fuchs accepted the award on behalf of the organization. “I cannot think of a more deserving organization to receive this award,” said University of Regina President and Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Vianne Timmons. “The Red Cross has a long history of serving our province – providing emergency and disaster services, improving the lives of vulnerable people, and working to prevent abuse, bullying, violence, and sexual exploitation. The University is proud to partner with the Red Cross in its service to our communities and proud to recognize the tremendous difference this organization has made in the lives of so many people.”
