dc.description.abstractIt is important to check what is lifetime distribution of a product in order to locate and remove the defect in future and to examine reliability of products. Here the subject of investigation is the construction of statistical tests for testing three main probability models in reliability theory consisting of model of aging and deterioration, model of weak link, and model of defect at birth. Six asymptotically locally most powerful tests will be constructed for pair wise distinction between aforementioned models and assess the tests by computer simulation.en_US
