For the second consecutive year, the University of Regina is a proud partner of Giving Tuesday, a global movement that was created in response to two major retail bargain days - Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The December 1 event coincides with the start of the holiday shopping season and is dedicated to raising awareness through social media about giving, particularly giving back to non-profit organizations through volunteerism and donations. On December 1 the President’s Office will match personal donations to University of Regina Giving Tuesday bursaries up to $14,300, the approximate number of students enrolled in the Fall 2015 semester. There are two Giving Tuesday bursaries to which people can donate – an undergraduate bursary and a graduate student bursary.
