Throughout the past month, U of R students have been busy in the community “raking” in money for the Children’s Wish Foundation. The UR Guarantee program, together with University of Regina Alumni Relations, started a new fundraiser in support of the Children’s Wish Foundation. Over the course of five days in October, teams of U of R students donated their time and muscles to rake the yards of dozens of U of R Alumni. In exchange for the students’ efforts, U of R alumni generously made cash donations. These efforts resulted in the raising of over $3,500 with all proceeds going towards funding a wish for a child with a life threatening illness who lives in Saskatchewan.
