    Abstract
Professor Dr. Lee Ward has brought new life to the works of a man known as one of the philosophical founders of modern liberal democracy. Ward has had the honour of being asked to edit, write the introduction and provide notes for the new version of John Locke’s Two Treatises of Government. The book is published by Hackett Publishing. Locke is still one of the most widely read political thinkers, more than 300 years after his death. Ward’s introduction is described by one reviewer as “clearly written, intelligent, and the argument is sound. I know of no better short introduction to this work."
