Feature Story: Bringing treaty education to Saskatchewan classrooms

Abstract

The Faculty of Education and UR STARS are inviting Saskatchewan teachers to the annual TreatyEdCamp 2016, on Saturday, October 1. “Teachers often say they aren’t sure how to start integrating treaty education in their classrooms,” says Katia Hildebrandt, a PhD candidate and sessional instructor in the Faculty of Education. Hildebrandt is organizing TreatyEdCamp 2016 with Raquel Oberkirsch, Meagan Dobson and members of UR STARS.
