Abstract

A famous silent horror film returns to the big screen – but with a new twist. The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, a German Expressionist psychological horror film released in 1920, will feature a new orchestral score. It’s composed by Jason Cullimore, a PhD doctoral student with the Faculty of Media, Art, and Performance (MAP). The musical score will be performed live and in-synch with the movie, October 16 at the Conexus Arts Centre.
